In the massif of the Charterhouse at the foot of Mont Granier, on the edge of the lake which was formed following the collapse of part of the cliff in the 13th century, a disaster which gave birth to one of the largest limestone cliffs in France. You are probably familiar with the famous Chartreuse liqueur but also discover the AOCs of Savoy wines produced here, on the hillsides of Chartreuse, in the towns of St Baldoph, Apremont, Myans, Les Marches and Chapareillan.
